FAQ

Berry and mint flavor, AIRFOAM® feels fresh on the teeth and eliminates the patient request for rubber cups or polishing paste, making treatments less invasive. AIRFOAM® contains fluoride (1450 ppm), as well as xylitol and erythritol, to ensure enough protection against tooth decay and strengthen the tooth surface or enamel. The CPC (Cetylpyridinium chloride) adds an antiviral effect to the product. It is a multifunction foam to enhance the patient’s experience during Guided Biofilm Therapy (to apply during step 7 of the GBT protocol). The 150 ml bottle allows 70 to 80 applications following dental treatment by the clinician.

  1. Shake the bottle well before use
  2. Dispense a small amount into your palm and apply the foam directly to all surfaces of the teeth using your finger.
  3. Do not rinse immediately; allow the foam to remain on the teeth for optimal effect.
  • Pleasant berry and mint flavor
  • Smooth, clean feeling on teeth
  • No need for rubber cup and polishing paste after GBT treatments
  • Easy and quick application
  • Enhances patient comfort and satisfaction

GBT AIRFOAM® contains 1450 ppm of fluoride.

The purpose of AIRFOAM® with 1450 ppm fluoride is to leave your patients with a refreshingly smooth sensation after a GBT treatment (to apply during step 7 of the GBT protocol), while also providing preventive benefits at the same time. AIRFOAM® contains biocompatible ingredients such as Erythritol and Xylitol, which contribute to its preventive properties. Further, it is free from SLS, a surfactant that has been linked to the occurrence of aphthae2. The presence of Cetylpyridinium Chloride (CPC) in the foam has been demonstrated to have efficacy against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
