No, GBT Certification is free of charge. To begin the certification onboarding, your practice must meet a few requirements - such as having premium GBT equipment, completing SDA training, and using original EMS consumables. For more details, see the FAQs below.

To become GBT Certified, your practice must meet the following criteria:

• Be equipped with at least one premium EMS device (either the GBT Machine or the AIRFLOW® Prophylaxis Master)
• Ensure that your dental team has completed a hands-on Swiss Dental Academy (SDA) training
• Use only original EMS consumables, such as the EMS PIEZON® PS Instrument and AIRFLOW® PLUS Powder Once these requirements are fulfilled, your practice can begin the GBT onboarding process.

Simply fill out the form available via the "Start Onboarding Now" button, and a GBT Expert will contact you to guide you through the next steps. The onboarding process includes:

• Signing the GBT Terms & Conditions and the GBT Consensus, confirming your commitment to implementing the full 8-step GBT protocol as the standard of care
• Collecting feedback from 50 patients using a survey provided by us After completing these steps, your practice will officially receive GBT Certification and gain access to exclusive benefits

You can track your progress and access patient feedback at any time via your MyEMS account, under the GBT Certification section. In this space, you will find:

• The number of completed patient surveys and how many are still needed to reach the required 50
• A summary of your patients’ feedback
• A personalized poster with your practice’s unique QR code, which patients can scan to complete the survey
• A direct survey link you can share digitally with your patients Please make sure your MyEMS account is linked to your practice information. If you haven’t created an account yet, you can do so here.

Once you begin your GBT Onboarding with a GBT Expert, you will receive an email containing a personalized poster with a unique QR code and a direct link to your patient survey. You can collect feedback in the following ways:

• Print and display the QR code poster in your practice. After their GBT treatment, patients can simply scan the code with their smartphone and complete a short 2-minute online survey.
• Share the survey link digitally as part of your post-appointment communication—for example, in a thank-you email after their visit. If you can’t find the original email with the QR code or link, don’t worry—you can always access both in your MyEMS account, under the GBT Certification section. Please make sure your MyEMS account is linked to your practice information. If you haven’t created an account yet, you can do so here.

Once your practice is GBT Certified, you can access all exclusive resources in the GBT Certification section of your MyEMS account. This includes among others marketing materials, e-learning content, and practical tools to support your team, strengthen patient communication and promote your certification. MyEMS is your personalized all-in-one dashboard, where you can manage your EMS devices, access support, and enjoy the full range of benefits reserved for GBT Certified practice. Six months before your GBT Certification expires, your practice’s main contact will receive the first email with recertification steps and training options in your country. These may include, depending on your country, hands-on trainings, e-learning on the GBT platform, or attending a GBT Summit. Once you have completed one of the training options your GBT Certification is extended.
