Every year, more than 400 million tonnes of plastic is produced worldwide, half of which is designed to be used only once.
That’s why World Environment Day is essential, to show what is being done around the world for the environment and to encourage action to #beatplasticpollution.
Our environmental commitments
EMS is doing more for the planet every day. In 2021 we decided to change the packaging of our products to make them more sustainable.
AIRFLOW® PLUS POWDER
We've replaced our plastic bottles with aluminium ones so they can be reused as a water bottle or recycled, when they are empty. With this change, we have saved approximately 75 tonnes of plastic (2.3 million bottles) between September 2021 and May 2023.

GBT TRAINING KIT
We also made a big decision in 2023 to change our training kit packaging to make it more sustainable. Today, our boxes are made entirely of cardboard, both inside and out, and are much easier to recycle.
